Causes and Liability Issues

Based on this news report, it is not clear how this motorcycle accident occurred. There are more questions than answers here. Where was the motorcycle rider on the freeway at the time? Was the motorcycle rear-ended by the other vehicle? Who was at fault here? Were there any other vehicles involved? Were drugs or alcohol a factor? Was the driver distracted or negligent in any way? These are important questions that must be answered in order to determine exactly what led to the collision.

If this accident was the fault of the driver, then, he or she could be held financially liable for the injuries caused in this case. If there was any negligence or wrongdoing involved, he or she could also face criminal charges. In such cases, injured victims can seek compensation to cover medical expenses, lost wages, cost of hospitalization, physical therapy and other related damages.

Victims or their families would be well-advised to contact an experienced Anaheim personal injury lawyer, who will analyze all aspects of the accident and make sure that the negligent parties are held accountable. A knowledgeable car accident lawyer will also be able to advise victims about how their car insurance policy will apply in their particular situation, especially if the incident involves an at-fault motorist who is uninsured or underinsured. The best Orange County personal injury law firms will always offer a free consultation and comprehensive claim evaluation to injured victims and their families.
