Two people were injured in an Orange County car accident involving five cars on the 55 Freeway, just north of Meats Avenue in Orange, California, the morning of August 18, 2009. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, a Ford Explorer SUV with Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District decals, rolled over, a black Volkswagen Jetta was spun out and a silver Honda Ridgeline was also involved. California Highway Patrol officials said two people from the Explorer, a woman and a minor, were transported to a hospital. The woman apparently had an arm injury.

I'm relieved no one was catastrophically injured in this major Orange car accident. A multiple car collision like this definitely could've been a lot worse. I wish the two injured victims the very best for a speedy and complete recovery.

Orange County Car Accident Statistics
